Restaurante El Campo

Wat een heerlijke ervaring! Fijn om weer een geweldig restaurant te hebben op loopafstand. We hadden verschillende goede reviews gelezen en hadden dus een hoge verwachting, maar toch hebben ze ons bij El Campo weten te verbazen. We waren gezellig met de kinderen, die zich heerlijk konden vermaken bij het speeltuintje. We begonnen eerst met wat tapas, een heerlijk bordje met gamba's en een broodje met Aioli. Daarna een bordje met meloen en ham en voor de kinderen patat met kipnuggets en een pizza Margherita. Nu wilde onze oudste liever geen kaas op zijn pizza, dat betekent bij een Margherita dat er weinig overblijft. Toen kwam de geweldige bediening vragen of hij er niet iets anders op wilde, hij koos voor tomaten. Tot slot aten we nog een heerlijk beef filet en daar sloegen we bijna van achterover! Zo'n heerlijk stuk vlees hebben we maar zelden op. Wij komen al 30 jaar in Spanje en altijd in de baai van Roses, ondertussen al bij aardig wat restaurantjes gegeten. El Campo staat voor ons onbetwist op #1! Hier komen wij zeker nog vaker terug.

Wir waren heute zu 4 dort essen. Restaurant liegt ein wenig versteckt. Es gibt ausreichend viele Parkplätze. Wir wurden sehr Herzlich empfangen. Unser Essen war Hervorragend. Ich habe ein auf den Punkt gebratenes Filetsteak gegessen. Einfach Top. Als Nachtisch hatten wir unteranderem Mouse de Schokolad, Crepe und Tiramisu. Alles Top. Dies das erste Mal das wir da waren,...aber 110% nicht das letzte mal. Kompliment an die Gastgeber und die Küche. Bis bald am Frankfurter Flughafen

We had a wonderful experience at El Campo! The food was absolutely delicious, the service incredibly friendly, and the calm, relaxing atmosphere made it even more enjoyable. The real star of the evening was the sweetest cat, soaking up all the love and attention he so rightfully deserved from the guests. We can't wait to return in the future!

We enjoyed this restaurant so much we returned on the second night. Places off the tourist track without a view of the sea need to work harder and this place does just that. Simple food but expertly cooked at great prices with lovely friendly service. We had the most amazing Argentinian beef fillet with a superb bottle of wine. It would easily have cost double the price in the UK. Homemade crema Catalana was spot on. If you like a generous G&T, start with what the lovely waitress called a holiday drink and don't plan to drive. Highly recommend.

Incredible experience at El Campo ! Tasting menu on reservation was excellent

A very tasty dinner, the staff is friendly. The restaurant is in a wonderful area and accept animals. I recommed !

Stayed in Vilacoum for 3 nights and had a walk upto El Campo for dinner one evening. The staff were brilliant, very friendly and attentive, so thankyou so much. The food was also excellent, we had a few tapas dishes and then shared the steak etc in the picture - will visit again when I'm next in the region :). Muchas gracias

Comida espectacular con excelente presentación. Muchos sabores y producto de calidad bien cocinado. Disfrutamos cada plato. ¡Un restaurante que nunca decepciona! Ah y con estacionamiento Recomendable pedir reserva.
